How do Can Do forms work with Basecamp?
You build a branded form, share its link, and every submission is created inside Basecamp automatically — as a to-do, card, message-board post or calendar event in the project you choose. No copy-paste, no separate inbox.
Where do form submissions go in Basecamp?
You decide when you set the form up. Point it at a to-do list, a card-table column, a message board or a schedule, and each response becomes a new item there — with your answers filling the title, body and due date.
What kinds of questions can I add?
Seven field types: short text, long text, email, number, date, an option picker (pick one) and multiple choice (pick several). Mark any field required, and map answers to the Basecamp item's title, body or due date.
Do people filling out the form need a Basecamp account?
No. The form is a public web page anyone with the link can open. Only your team needs Basecamp — the people submitting just answer the questions and hit submit.
Can I brand the form, and where does it get published?
